We prioritize rigorous evaluation in all that we do. Our data sources include a 3-year randomized control trial (RCT), evaluations by external firms, and a robust data collection system tracking the progress of our NGO partners and their beneficiaries.
All sources show consistent and robust impact that helps graduates of SBS lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
SBS through Partners data can be found in the 2020 M&E Report. SBS in Uganda data can be found in the 2021 M&E Report. RCT Results can be found in the RCT Impact Report.
We know our curriculum changes lives in lasting ways, and we want to share it. SBS collaborates with NGOs, governments, financial institutions, and faith communities to leverage the respective expertise of each partner through a social franchising model. SBS brings a world-class entrepreneurial training program with proven results, and partners bring local leadership and deep cultural knowledge of the communities they serve, amplifying their impact in the sector in which they work.

Our partners represent a variety of missions, yet all share an understanding that poverty is exacerbating the issue they are seeking to resolve. SBS partners currently work to address 16 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
